I believe it's a plain old bcg, much like a LMT or Colt. I may be mistaken,

Ah prob so.. And I'm assuming they will throw a BFL on it. I was just hoping it wasn't goin to look average since it's $180 and, from reading the info, it is chrome and not NiB. Seems kinda high.

Pic from newsletter:
Description: Bolt is Carpenter 158 steel, MPI, HPT, shot peened with a tool steel extractor and black extractor insert and tension enhancing o-ring. Auto carrier is chrome lined with chrome lined, hardened gas key and Grade 8 cap screws staked per Mil-Spec. Everything but the coating is mil-spec, and the added Ion-Bond has all the attributes of chrome improving wear resistance and reducing friction thereby greatly increasing service life without the pitfalls of chrome like flaking and the bright surface. In addition: - Reduces coefficient friction - Increased wear resting from foreign abrasive materials - High pitting and corrosion resistance - High integrity of surface structure - Better adhesion to base materials - Absorbs oil and retains lubricating benefits longer So the BCG is Ion-Bonded, not chromed (though it is chrome-lined inside as IonBond cannot be put on interior spaces). Ion Bond has the benefits of NiB without the shiny surface (depute the pic above); it is a dark finish. That's the big difference between ours and any others. |

Thanks for the pictures. They look slick. There were a few done with a small BFL on the top of the back of the carrier. Most do not have them, but we could go back to adding them if the demand was there. Because of the one on the face of the bolt, a second one was redundant. |

SOOOOO...
I watched the BCG on tracking on Monday... THEN it happened, my worst nightmare. Item status was DELIVERED and NOT at my house. OH SHIT!! UPS delivered to the wrong house. How do I know? Because it says a woman signed for it and well I am not a woman and my wife is not home so now what? I went to the neighbors and they had not received anything. CRAP... I call UPS and they tell me that I have to call the shipper and start a claim process. I AM PISSED!!! and wonder what kind of person would sign for a package with an address that is not yours. Around 2100 (900pm) I get a knock on my door and its a lady that live down the street with my package saying that her daughter opened it and she was sorry. I told her that It was no problem and I was just happy to finally get my BCG!
I have been out of town for work all week. Here are my crappy cellphone pics till I can get the ones off my camera later. Here is the ARFCOM BCG: Kinda blurry...
With my 2011 Challenge Coin
THANKS ARFCOM!!! You guys are AWESOME! |

If you discovered who made these BCGs, hold on to your hats. It's time to find out all over again. The ones I ordered mid Dec arrived and they no longer have the flats on the carrier. New supplier?
