First off - I am not pro-Nazi. I am a student of history, in particular 19th and 20th century military history. The recent refugee "crisis" in Europe and also here (on a smaller scale) got me thinking.

The Allies were quick to de-Nazify Germany as quickly as possible after WW2, for then-obvious reasons. Despite the best efforts, even to this day, Nazi sentiment is still there. The recent events involving refugees is probably causing the sentiment to grow.

With such popular support, would Germany try to repeal / modify anti-Nazification laws, but direct their ire towards muslims this time? How would the rest of Europe respond?

Thought and comments. Thanks.

I think the Germans will revisit the idea of who is allowed to enter and remain within the national boundry.  So will many other nations.

Most of the best Germans died in battle or in soviet camps. Germany has been womanised. Germany has the right to say "No" and the ability to make it stick. I doubt that they will however.

I believe that it is safe to say that they would certainly not repeal any of the laws they have repudiating NAZIism or taking aim at people or groups trying to promote NAZI politics. I also don't foresee the Germans taking back their social justice culture which has been developed in response to the NAZI atrocities or certain political attitudes. What may result is certain practicalities to address migration and settlement related policies.

Germany had better do something real quick to save what culture they have left.  I don't know if they will as they are probably more afraid of world opinion than they are of losing their country.  They probably already have irreparable damage to their culture .  Even old sweet Sweden is thinking about deporting 80.000 of the immigrants there.  They are finding them to intolerable.  Hope they get rid of all of them and not just 80.000.
