Lets see, Im currently reading "Garden of Beasts" a book about the experiences of W. Dodd the US Ambassador to Germany between 1933 to 1938, along with his nit-wit daughter Martha who was a Nazi apologist and who probably slept with 1/2 of the Nazi leadership. It is a fascinating insight into the anti-semitic mood not only in Germany but also in the western countries at the time. Im also reading "Lords of the Sky" which tells nicely the evolution of air combat. Lastly Im reading a book about ISIS, Called ISIS, which covers the creation of the group and all the screw ups we did to make it possible and now such a force to be reckoned with. If your a head in the sand Obama'ite your probably best off not reading it cause there is no way to "spin" the facts other then the fact were screwed and we screwed ourselves. Anyway they will be coming to a town near you eventually and two years from now a new President will end up having to deal with a World War against Islamic thuggery. The reality we mostly ignore is pretty scarey. And it was scarey back in the '70s when I was stationed in theater.

So thats the three books Im alternating from. Whats yours?

The Plantagenets and The Wars of Roses, both by Dan Jones.  You can almost map characters and events to those in Game of Thrones.

Good book.  Amazing victory and Morgan took every weak point and used it in his favor.  He truely outthought and outfought Tarleton.

BTW, I'm reading Airships.  About 2/3 the way through right now. Bought it on sale at the Naval Institute Press.
