It's that original? I don't know anything about it really I can put up some pictures here shortly, I'm heading out of town for a bit. I know you guys know everything about everything.

Head over to the Wehrmacht Awards forum. I know there are knowledgeable people on this site, but, the folks there know damn near everything there is to know when it comes to militaria, especially WW2.

Post detailed pictures, and we can help you out. Sounds like a war trophy that was acquired in France in 1945.

Post detailed close ups of decal, inside of helmet and outside of the helmet. Look inside of the helmet and look for something like "Q66", take a photo of that. '
