A friend recently passed away via an accident. He had two Streetsweeper style DD shotguns. I am fairly sure that he registered them during the grace period with the BAFTE. My question is what type of paperwork should his widow be looking for so that she may sell them? Is it a completed form with or without the stamp? Was it a letter/document/certificate from BAFTE?
Will both DD have  documentation? I think I know this answer but I am not a Class 3 type guy.

She should enlist the services of a good 2A attorney to inquire on her behalf.

IIRC member LawyerUp is an attorney in WV so the executor of the estate could have him contact the ATF.  The executor doesn't want to do it directly.

If he registered them during the ammnesty, they would be on a Form 1 with no tax stamp issued.

No CLEO signoff or $200 tax would of been needed.
