Hi all. So, i'm considering buying a gun trust. Lawyers around me charge over 500 bucks for this, however there are online outfits that charge less than 100.
The one in particular that keeps coming up is 199trust.com for like 80 bucks with lots of promises of being legit.

Does anyone have any first-hand experience with one of these? (Not opinions - EXPERIENCE)
Or FIRST-HAND knowledge whether they are legit from the legal standpoint?

I wouldn't mind eventually getting a suppressor, or building an SBR or something, if it's gonna cost me 80 bucks plus the 200 tax stamp.
However, I couldn't care less for any of that if it will cost me 500. I'm not 500-dollar-concerned how loud my gun shoots, or how long my barrel is.
Thanks in advance!

... perchance, might you have a knowledge FFL locally that would help you through the process?
Things may be different in Pennsylvania, but around these parts NFA dealers usually help nubes if acquiring products from them. Often for free. At least that was the circumstance in my case

Around here dealers give you a business card of a local attorney, lol.
I've gone as far as calling ATF to get some clarification, after being transferred 5 or 6 times, i got their NFA guy's voicemail.

I used a generic, fill in the blanks online trust maker. It was like $50.00. I picked up my 5th silencer the other day. If you want one just to buy a silencer or sbr I say go as cheap as possible.

Yeah, thats all i really want, plus a provision that my son inherits all of my gun related crap.
So, you did the generic online one, and then what? Had it notarized? Submitted to the ATF? Is that how it typically works?

Fwiw, just had a nice chat with an ATF NFA specialist. She basically laughed at the lawyer situation across the board. She told me about hundreds of phone calls FROM lawyers to ATF, asking how to do a trust. According to her, all those 50 dollar online trusts are perfectly acceptable.

Where are you in PA? Have you considered going the individual route?

I would assume you want to get a "gun trust" to be able to get NFA guns.
It probably wouldn't be a problem to get a sign of in PA, depending on where you live. Therefore not needing to get a trust.
