Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right spot, but i hae a legal question. I regularly go to and from my local range, i own an ar-15 and i was wondering if it is legal for me to transport loaded magazines in the trunk of my car. The rifle remains seperated and in its own pelican case with no magazine in the firearm. If i get pulled over, can i get in trouble for having loaded mags in my car? (They have only 10 rnds in them.)

You will get much better responses in the CT Hometown forum. It is legal to have the mags loaded, but only with 10 rounds.
