The Feinstein Project is an attempt to engineer a working AR lower out of small ABS plastic bricks, commonly used as children's toys & sold under the brand names Lego, K'nect, etc.  All designs, including the thumbhole stock, will be released to the public domain.  Do I need to set up some sort of non-profit corporation in order to get a .org domain for our website, or do I just go to Go Daddy & say this is what I want?

Yep. About $10 qualifies you for pretty much any public domain name.
