Quoted: Well Ive never done that but I will take your advise as youre probably speaking from experience. Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/tt314/xd_45er/1263417613.jpg mini maglite goes in my inside jacket pocket not on the belt. lol Also iphone but used it to take the picture. Dude, you need to get a new holster. Seriously. Now, now. Don't go upsetting the cheap holster brigade. Yeah, why spend $55 on a holster that will keep my weapon in place guaranteed when I can spend $35 on one that will drop my gun in the toilet or come out of my pants if I ever have to draw my firearm? Seriously though, Im in the market for a new one but not sure what to get. I would hate to drop $100 on one that I wont use. I carry in front at about 1 or 2 o'clock |
|
Knife, keys, cell phone, wallet.
No pistol for another year and a half. |

Main CCW and spare mag.
Sometimes a BUG. Never a knife since my pockets are fucking jammed full. |

Check out Comp-Tac for solid, reasonably priced holsters. For appendix carry you can go with a 2 o'clock or a Minotaur. I use a CTAC daily. Comp-Tac |

Work day:
Wallet Keys Izula (fixed blade knife) Phone Chapstick Bic lighter (don't smoke) Day off: All of the above except I swap the Izula for a Glock 19, and throw a Buck folder in my pocket. |

Spread your rounds out in the speed strips to allow a space between the sets of 2 and 3. this lets you at least throw 2 quick ones in the cylinder if you need to load REALLY fast. pic i found that shows it; |

Quoted: Knife is a cold steel voyager, medium. Flashlight is a Kobalt (lowe's brand) that does 80 lumens and is basically an inexpensive, less indestructible surefire. 1911 is a kimber Ultra Shadow II, with Wilson officer length mag with pad. Spare is a CM Power Mag 8 rounder. Both with TAP. I can't carry at work but if I'm not at work this is my usual, plus the get home bag in the car. Usual holster is a milt sparks vm2 full length, since sometimes I carry a 5" 1911. One of these days I'll get around to buying a shorter vm2. http://www.wolfweb.us/images/daily.jpg Man I LOVE that Kimber. Good job. |

Awesome choice on the knife, I carry that one as well. Get an Uncle Mikes holster to tide you over until you find a high end one you like. It looks like you could dump your pistol out if you lean over. |
