THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I could understand it if you bought a Pink Rifle that a % of that sale would go towards Breast Cancer Awareness. How ever I don't think that it does. Not every Gal in America likes the color Pink. Every where you go, it's PINK this and PINK that. UGH........................................... A gal just can't get away from the color PINK!!!!!!!! If you're wondering, my favorite color is Saphire Blue. Although, if they made a gun in my favorite color, I still wouldn't buy it. I love my Black Rifle and that's the only color it should ever come in! Okay, I'll get off of my soap box now!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a GREAT DAY Ladies & Gents!

Off the top of my head, I can't think of a single pink item I own; I don't wear it, don't decorate with it, damn sure wouldn't have a gun that color. I do kinda like guy in a starched cotton, pink buttondown shirt with Levis or chinos. I think this is probably a throwback to my ex-husband. When he thought he needed a little exercise, he and an equally bizarre/perverse friend would get all prepped out and hit the punk rock bars. Sometimes, if I begged, they'd take me with them. That was some funny shit, that was.

My niece has been shooting a few times with her boyfriend and bought some kind of pink rifle because she liked the color. I could not get out of her what caliber it was or anything, only that it's pink and cute. Chicks buy stuff because of color, go shopping for a car with a woman sometime (or better yet DON'T)

I personally don't buy things because of a color. When it comes to Guns, the brands I like are the most expensive. Just ask my wonderful hubby The_Beer_Slayer. I'll see something really nice and it'll be the most expesive gun in the store.
I don't like Pink. Pink is a girly girl color. And I'm not a girly girl. I'm a tomboy at heart. I prefer dark blues and earth tone colors. Mona |

my wife likes to shoot, and is really supportive of my hobby. She is a totally girly-girl and likes pink stuff. I like pink as well since it looks cute on her.
it wasn't until the recent arrival of pink guns that my wife has been interested in buying her own guns. Last summer I was up in Salt Lake and decided to stop at Dougs Guns, I was looking around but had the flu and didn't feel good. My wife was over looking at some other stuff and I wasn't paying attention to her. I finally said I wasn't feeling good and are you ready to go? She said she was looking at some stuff and would be right out. I go sit in the car and after a LONG time she finally comes out andgets in the car. With a gun. She bought herself a Pink gripped smith and wesson airweight.  . By herself. without asking me.
she has always been sorta apathetic about AR's, and likes guns with wood stocks and stuff. She likes shooting them but hasn't really been interested. last night we're laying in bed and she says "They make Pink ARs?" one of her friends got a pink AR15 and she's all jealous now. She says she must have a pink AR15 now. I figure if it takes pink guns to get my wife to enjoy shooting, and have a good time, then pink it is. I also think they look sorta neat, they are less threatening looking and when my wife shoots her pink revolver, other girls fawn over it and proclaim they must have one too. So I like it and think it's pretty cool. Some of us like black guns, some wood guns, and some pink guns. to each their own I guess. |

Be glad you don't live around here then. One of the biggest contractors in the area has ALL of their equipment from a 988 loader, down to the Pickup trucks painted pink and black. Been that way for at least 35 years.
It works, just a glance and you know who is doing the job when you pass by. |
