He refused to pose for any pics here.
He made the bus and is on the way to his next stop. He asked about the original Victory Field/ Bush Stadium. I showed him what was left of it 
This is a place holder. 
Crusing around downtown Indy 
Checking out the Scottish Rite Cathedral 
Pissed because I wouldn't let him hang off the top of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument. 
We saw the Indiana War Memorial. It's not a real good idea to be a grown man walking around with Opie. Especially when taking pictures across from Federal Building downtown. So it's always a good to bring along a decoy to place Opie.

ETA: Mrs Taft is cool with it. UPDATE ! Cruise is booked, departs LAX on 09/12/2010 to Seattle, back on 09/19/2010. We will be on the Sapphire Princess. Opie should have no trouble finding alcohol, single possums, and who knows, maybe PIRATES ! What do you all think ? |

Well, no baby yet.
Any day now, as we have been saying for the last week. We are scheduled to be induced on the 11th should things refuse to move about on their own. So, it's up to you guys. I can post what I have (not much) or we can wait another few days. I planned on going through labor ect if the baby would get his act together.
You let me know if you're in a hurry or you wanna wait it out another few days.

Opie came to Panther's house but was tired of hiding in the closet and wanted to see what was happening in KC on Friday night.
Well Eric10mm picked him up from Panther's place and brought him over to Raytown. We gathered a few of the "Bolt Logo" group for some beers at Buffalo Wild Wings. Opie nursed a beer for a while 
Then he went to the Bar for a Shot of Orange Patron Tequila 
I made Opie an Honorary Instructor and presented him with an Instructor Hat 
I started to pay Opie then pulled out a debit card to pay for the drinks saying "I got this one" 
Opie then flashed a stack of cash and said "Let's go find some women!" 
On the way out Opie wanted his picture taken with "The most interesting man in the world" 
When we got to the parking lot, Opie got in a shouting match with a local, then got in a fight 
Then Opie wanted to drive so we headed out 
So he drags us into Hooters... 
Then he started drinking everything on the table and passed out! 
We woke Opie up and told him we had to go, so he offered to pay again and I realized he was using MY card! |

Eric10mm and I decided to take Opie to Pioneer Gun Club today for a bit of shooting. Opie thought that would be great but nursing his hangover he was slow getting up.
We went to the short range to verify Zero on a couple Rifles before heading over to the 100-200 Yard Ranges, I let Opie try my M1A and he said it was just like the one he carried in NAM... What is that all about? I didn't think he was that old??? 
Opie kept taking Naps all day 
Opie wanted to shoot the Sniper Mosin Nagant 91/30 
We moved over to the 100-200 ranges and Opie Skoffed saying something about a MAN's Range... 
He wanted to try out Eric's LaRue Stealth so Eric was only too happy to oblige the Marsupial's Whim 
Then Opie wanted to try my Recce gun 
That Rodent can shoot. 
He said he was going to check out the Club House 
He went straight to the kitchen 
Then he checked out the Decor 
Back to the range and E1CM was shooting his Ruger Blackhawk 44Mag Opie spotted for him at 100 Yards 
Eric complained about Recoil Fatigue Opie Called him a pussy and jumped behind the gun NOOOOOO OPIE!!!! 
FFFFFfffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
After we finished shooting Opie said he knew a restaurant that was really good, and they have TONS of them in every town he has been in, says he eats there all the time so Eric and I were Game. 
I invited Opie to my Family's July 4th BBQ and Fireworks display. Opie says he is an Expert, what could possibly go wrong? |

Well Opie and I arrived at my sister's house for Beer, BBQ, and Fireworks...
Opie kept going on about knowing all about Fireworks and being some kind of Certified Home Fireworks display or some shit... First thing Opie does is bring out some of his fireworks... 
He tosses one out on the lawn and grabs a torch... 
Before I could say anything he lights the fuse then laughs as I run away... 
Opie's Fur got singed a little, the lucky little feller 
Opie jumps right up and runs over and Grabs one of the ALS smokes out of my bag 
Before I could stop him he pulled the pin and set the canister on a cinderblock.. 
The cloud obscured the neighborhood for a while. 
Then he pulls out some kind of M80... "Says, put this under the bucket, I want a RIDE I do this all the time, you can go next!" 
He hops on the bucket... 
OPIE!!!! GET OFF THERE! You are gonna get hurt!!! 
OPIE! ARE YOU OK!?!? 
He was just fine, some sort of thrill junkie! Then he says "I'm Hungry", and runs off to find food. 
And then he wanted another Beer 
Opie sat and watched the family play catch for a while 
Then it started to get later, we started launching aerials but then the rain came and we were sunk. 
Opie got another Beer from the bucket
