I heard this once: Women and Men marry for different reasons: Women marry men hoping they will change. Men marry women hoping they won't change. Now, ALL MARRIED members will agree with this (the single ones will learn soon enough): The AFARR theory of marriage: ALL Women get mean after they get married. The AFARR corollary to the AFARR theory of marriage: Men get dumb after they get married. The two experimental hypotheses for the AFARR theory and corollary: 1. Women get mean because their husbands get dumb. 2. Men get dumb because their wives get mean.
