IMO I think that the black berets are part of a tradition of excellence. It's been a tradition for years that the "elite" wear the black berets. They ought to continue that tradition.

thank the Lord that my son just joined the Marine Corps. They don't have these divisive issues manifesting themselves on a continual basis. They are more concerned in training young men to be the best soldiers in the world.

The regular Army should have the tan baret and the Rangers WHO EARNED THE PRIVILEDGE SHOULD WEAR THE BLACK BARET.
