The Food Network chef line-up is pretty pathetic if you stop to think about it...
-Alton Brown's program is about the only one I can stand to watch and he doesn't exactly whip
up some original recipes as much as show more efficient cooking techniques.
-Paula Deen great recipes, too bad if you were to base your repertoire on hers you'd be looking like her in no time.
-Giada?? You've got to be kidding. Throw her in a kitchen with Mario Batali, Nick Stellino or Lydia Bastianich and let the
ass whupping begin.
For that matter pick the worst of the PBS/Create TV cooking shows and their chefs stand head and shoulders above
the Food Net. jabber jaws.
They might not have 'star quality' or 'competitive cooking' on their resume, but their ability is apparent when they crank out the dishes.
Some of the Food Network shows just make me say WTF?
Let's see, some blonde bimbo just brought out some store bought cupcakes. Took some canned frosting, added orange food coloring,
frosted the cupcakes, chucked on some M&Ms and said "See it's easy to make Halloween Treats!"
