God help me

On the good side-if there is one-it gets better mileage....

God, if you have any mercy, strike me down...

Hope it's not one of those exploding Chrysler products I saw on the tube the other night. Something about fuel leaks in the engine compartment.

What, you couldn't talk her into a Suburban? Subs are the ultimately family truckster. They are cavernous inside and you can have 4WD along with some degree of offroad ability.

Cleatus.....

You MUST check out this link. It's absolutely vital that you do. I provide this as a service to you and to other members who have stepped in to the dark world of mini van ownership.

you are no longer a card-carrying male.  a mini-van.  ewwwww!

the suburban thing is absolutely correct.  when my s15 truck decided it wanted to go to the junkyard in the sky, we thought long an hard about the next vehicle.  didn't want to be swapping vehicles ten times each time a new situation developed.  we decided on the suburban because of its complete adaptability to just about any situation.

now if i can just save up the money to jack her up!

D'Oh!

Didn't anyone ever explain to you that buying a minivan will get your wife PREGNANT?!?

I never understood mini-vans... why, you can put SO many more kids into the bed of a pickup than you can get in any mini-van!  Think of the advantages: you could car-pool you entire neighborhood, or carry the whole soccer team at one time, especially if you get the cattle-gates on the side and back.  Plus, there's always room for at least a half-a-dozen more if you lower the tail-gate.

What were you thinkin'?!!?

Not all bad.  Some of those things have video games in them.  Not to mention the act of breaking it in, if you know what I mean[sex].

When the minivans a rockin[bounce] don't come a knockin'

But what you fail to recognize is that most people with mini-vans are married, and we all know that married people don't have sex.  Unless it's with the neighbor, I guess!

Next on list:

Glue cellphone to ear and start driving terribly on the streets and freeways.  Learn to scream and swat kids in the backseat while driving.  Get use to checking off title "Soccer Mom" on all applications and forms from now on.  Don't forget strap-on sandals and optional baseball cap.

I feel your pain.
I traded '92 Corvette for a new '96 Toyota Camry wagon after my son was born.
I often recall that sad day.
Wait, I must stop before I...  [>(]

Don't worry about it. Happens to everybody. These young guy's day is coming. The canoe fits on top of our van just right and I wouldn't trade the kids or my still lusty old lady for any hot rod.

How about a bad ass 4x4 that the kids fit in, canoe on top and the lusty babe...minus the mini van? I know, it takes a wild imagination, but dare to dream.
