I've had it. I can not a take this any more. Bull shit gun laws, A Kaliban Governor who wastes our money, an oppressive Attorney General, No CCW and a land full of liberal scum who continue to phuk themselves.

Our government has turned sour, and the best people ultimately become criminals and basic rights become 'crimes'. Obscure regulations and technical paperwork violations are used to destroy people who dare to speak their minds.

I've simply had enough.

I quit.

I don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows in the PRC. I can tell you it is defiantly not in the direction I want it to be.

To the Socialist Governor Gray Davis, I hearby withdrawal my consent from the state. I hearby refuse to give up my money to you to simply waste it. From this point on, I no longer participate in the Kaliban's oppression any longer.

The pundits call it apathy, they couldn't be more wrong. And for this, I am labeled an enemy of the state, and so be it. I am no longer a participate in this facade called the People's Republic of Kalifornia.

I'm packing up and getting the Phuk out of here. I'm going east, marrying my fiancee and becoming a law enforcement officer. I'm going to start anew and fight the good fight.

Wish me luck.

And to think, I can remember a time when Kali was heralded as a bastion of freedom in a nation of eroding civil rights.
When the Chicago cops were beating the shit out of kids my own age, not many miles from where I lived, and I would grow discouraged and disillusioned with the direction my country was headed, it was California that I dreamed of.

What Happened?

Well, not to flame any particular state or persons this is what i've been told, some of which i've seen first hand.

Since the late 1950's and still today there has been a constant movement of people from the east coast to California. Many of these people call themselves "liberals" but liberal they are NOT! Along with them they brought their politics with them (e.g.- Sullivan Law, etc) over many years this has caused a massive change in the political landscape in the state.

Look at the firearms laws of New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.

Over the years i've met quite a few people who came from these states (nothing wrong with that in itself).

Now, look at the similarities in the laws of these states and California.

Just my observation & my $.02

In a word, liberalism.

Liberalism is a philosophical cancer that is specifically designed to transform this nation into precisely the type of socialist state our constitution was written to prevent.

As a former leftist, I know this to be true. Any leftist who tries to tell you otherwise is simply lying. And after all the guns are confiscated, the 90% tax rates will follow.

It will happen.

I'm just curious, if someone wanted out of Kali are there any gun friendly states close by? Or just states that are more gun tolerable ?

My brother wanted to move to Kali for years so he could ride his hog all year round, but after he found out about the gun laws he said no way.

Wait a sec.  You're tired of the welfare state yet you want to go to some other state and become a leech on society (another useless cop)?
Why not enter an industry that actually produces something other than tyranny?

Give me a break.  What you're really saying is that you're tired of being the one who has to pay like everyone else.  You can't have it both ways.  Either drop out or become a "party man" like you really want to.

Stay in Kali, you belong there, Braniac.

Oh great and humble trickshot, guide me to the way of the rightous. For I am lost without you.

I didn't say I was going to be a cop forever ts, sorry for not making that clear.

*sarcasm off*

"Give me a break. What you're really saying is that you're tired of being the one who has to pay like everyone else."

I'm sure if you lived in a state like Kali where the governer wasted your money and wanted even more money to waste, I'm sure you'd leave as well TS.

"You can't have it both ways."

No shit TS, That's why I'm withdrawling my consent from this shitty state.

"Either drop out or become a "party man" like you really want to. "

Ok TS, tell me what to do, your so smart....right? right?

"Stay in Kali, you belong there, Braniac."

Trust me, if I stayed in Kali, a lot of blood would be shed.

Oh no you don't. Not to TN. That's where I plan to go after NC completes it's transformation into the Massachussetts of the South.

The fleeing Californians mean well, but like locust, they moved there because it was free, and bountiful, and when they had devoured all that was good in that place, they spread to other lands, having no clue that they bring with them the seeds of that which they flee. Lower taxes! But don't mess with subsidized education. Make our streets safe! But we must go easy on criminals who might be reformed. We need laws to keep the really bad stuff from happening, the end result being that you can get more time for a sheet metal tube on a firearm than some people actually get for the commision of the crimes such laws purport to prevent.

Don't mess up TN.

Jeez thumbtrap, Talk about eliteism. Guess I'm not good enought for you kind then huh?

I thought only liberals practiced that. But with that attitude, I don't think I'd waste my time with TN.

Unlike you maybe, I didn't have a choice of which state to live in. I was born here. But that doesn't mean I like it here.

Lived in Los Angeles for 12 years.  Now I live in the free state of North Carolina where I have a CCW and many "evil black guns".  People in free states need to remember that Kalifornia has been known to set precedent so you better make sure it doesn't happen in your state.

Finally...another limit is reached.  Congratulations on your decision.  Too bad it had to come to this.  We made ours five years ago and got the hell out.

"Liberalism is a disease...like bubonic plague...liberalism is a disease, like syphillus...liberalism..."...Hey you want to sit down Hobbs!"  OOPS!  Wrong movie!

Good on you for making the big decision.  We moved to Virginia five years ago and boy has my collection GROWN since then...especially with nasty looking black rifles, shotguns, pistols and lots and lots of magazines and bullets.  Shit, by Kaliban standards, I'm sure I qualify as a crazy ARSENAL owner and certainly worth of being arrested!  To paraphrase my liberal relatives still entrapped there..."What do you NEED all of those guns for?"  "Just THINK of all the good things society could spend the money on, that you wasted on those stupid GUNS!"

Get the idea?  That ain't no jive either...they actually said it last time they visited here.

Move to Virginia.  You will be moving into a gun friendly state...and you can easily get your CCW.  Lots of fine gun stores, ranges, and shows.  NRA HQ is just up the road in northern VA too.

Sic Semper Tyrannis!

Well I'd say come to Oregon where I roam, but alot of you Kali's already have.
I can do what I please here in this state, limits of course, but for most part, Oregon is free like most other states when it comes to your rights. Once everyone in kali finally realize how bad kali really is, like rowgan, the first place they goin to go is up here to oregon and washinton. I know that these freaks will within 20 years will ruin it for us up here in the northwest.

Not that I would blame anyone from leaving CA, but if all the decent people leave, then CA will become more and more liberal. Isn't there some way to stop this? Or will we end up with a half-dozen socialist states because everyone who saw through the leftist crap left?

Yes, I was, but I'm glad to hear your plans as well.  Maybe you'll be happier... though, I'll be sorry to see you go.  We need all the *good guys* we can get.

Sorry to hear about the "sitch" with your daughter- that's a major bummer, but I respect your priorities.

I don't apologize for living here, and I don't apologize for my choice to stay despite what's going on.  I'm a little more philosophical about it, and don't blow a gasket when I don't like something (again, not directed at you).  I doubt I'll be shedding any blood soon...

There are pros and cons about any place- but family is family and, among other things, that means alot.
