Don't you have any picture of him like actually climbing around in the chimney covered in soot or something? Maybe waving a little broom? With a black face? Those would be good....

Sweep, the last time I saw something that big on a roof, Godzilla was walking through Tokyo. [:D]

Don't take this the wrong way, purely out of curiosity, what do chimney sweepers make?

Hey Sweep, I've been seeing ads on TV for the "CSL" (or something like that), a log that supposedly cleans the chimney out when burned. And I noticed your logo looks like theirs -- that where you got it?? Just curious.

Major misconception about chimney sweeps there. Today we are actually more of venting specialist than we are chimney sweeps. All the sweeping is done either from the top or bottom with brushes and rods and you don't climb into the chimney to sweep them.

Yeah I know....It's just that every time I think about a chimney sweep I think of that guy in Mary Poppins (I think). The guy thats always all sooty with a broom and stuff.

Thanks for the kind words "Boss". It has been an education, and a little hard work never hurt anyone....even me. Lew

I have a chimney sweep friend who describes his job as an "air quality specialist." Must be what a executive assistant is to a secretary.[;)] He installs Solid Flue type stuff along with cleaning. You're lucky that ice isn't that common down south.
