Can you still get the book Jarhead. If so , I have to do some christmas shopping later. I will pick up a copy if I can find one.

You can definitely still get the book. I imagine they have a new edition coming out since the movie is fixing to hit screens here anytime.

I can't say enough superlatives about this book or the guys whose story it tells. I literally could not put the thing down and read it clean through. There I sat on the sofa at 0300 with tears running down my face. It's that intense. The only other book that affected me that way was [i]Five Years To Freedom,[/i] by Col. Nick Rowe.
