A while back I was on a site that drew pictures based on numbers that were provided for formulas.  You plugged in the numbers and a Java based drawing, based on complex mathematical formulas, was drawn in the Java space.

Anyone know of this site?

I don't know of the site itself, but look you might try a google search on "Java Fractals"  or something like that - most likely what you are looking for is a fractal generating program in Java.
