I hate the Rams (I'm from Tennessee, they stole our Superbowl) but I think they'll stomp San Fran. The rams offense is probably the best in the league.

The rams are going to beat up on the niners so bad that they cry all the way back to Kalifornia. Kaptain Kurt is going to throw for more yards than he has all year, Kurt will be setting records today. But there is some good news. St. Louis has some of the best hospitals in the country so when Garcia, Owens and Hearst get their Legs and necks snapped they will have some of the best medical care there is.

Folks...this is simple math: If the Rams keep from losing that greasy pigskin...they WIN!
No way the 49ers can keep up with Kurt & Co. The Rams put points on the board faster than any team in the history of football.

On the other hand...since the Rams have had a bit of trouble of late hanging on to that funny shaped ball...I'd have to say the Boys from 'Frisco (They HATE that!) have a better than even chance of beating the Rams. Geez...just imagine how many points they could score if they didn't lose the ball so much.)

Finally, if Ram safety Adam Archuleta is [relatively] healthy and plays...advantage Rams. He whacks people.

My advice...take the Niners and the points.

Should be a barn burner! Stay tuned.

My...my...what have we here, an ass whuppin?

Trader...[>(]...with ALL due respect, and I mean that...I think my scenario was proven. The Rams only lost the ball twice...and that has to be a record for them...and they put up points at their usual pace. Since the St. Louis DEFENSE showed up too...SF had NO chance right from the git-go.

I couldn't get the game in my venue but I read the detailed play by play and it seemed to me that St. Louis dominated the Niners pretty easily when the chips were down. I think the Rams could have run up the score had they wanted to...but they were sitting on the ball well at the end too.

Now...I'm not one to overly gloat but just this once...(gloat-gloat-gloat!).

Hope springs eternal...maybe in the playoffs?

Oh...and one last gloat...Who is this kid Garcia that you 49ers fans were screaming about? [>Q]I had it in my mind that he was going to be the great slayer of Rams. What happened?

I'm old...I remember the Montana-to-Rice 1980s when the Niners owned the NFL. After they wrested control from the Cowboys in 1981, the road to the Super Bowl always seemed to go through San Francisco. They also owned the Rams. Times do change though...
This Rams team is a little like the '80s Lakers...Showtime! Catch us if you can!
Some can...most can't. Imagine Pittsburg v. Rams in the Super Bowl. Good game. The Bus pounding the line...Kurt throwing the bombs.
