"Does it mean these girls are sluts? What does this all mean?"
What, because they have tatoos? |
OK. I thought it might be somehow linked to the whole "Porn Star" craze of last year. The "Party Dot" still means slut though, yes?
Disclaimer: I am happily married and in no need of sluts. My interest is strictly of a sociological and scientific nature. |
+1 Why is it that if a woman has something we don't understand such as this type of tattoo, does it automatically mean she is a slut or will give it up if we say hi to her? Is that naive thinking on the OP part? I personally have found that the clean cut women are more susceptible to being the slutty types. YMMV |

They're supposed to be a symbol of membership for Chechen mafia if they're on your kneecaps.
No, not at all. I have no qualms with tattoos. I just thought that the star may be a direct statement, and thus I sought clarification, which has been provided. I look to this site for insight, on occasion, and once again, it has been accurately provided, which I appreciate. |

Is this anything like a Tramp Stamp? |
Yes, this. It's those crude, single dot tattoos seen on the web of the hand, just between the thumb and index finger. Often administered by a meth-fueled individual, the quality can vary from somewhat below acceptable to downright sloppy. Legend has it that these dots signify a willingness to do drugs and have sex with anyone capable of providing drugs and sex. |

Wrong wrong wrong. It means you bought into that whole lame "emo" genre, a derivative of punk popularized by DC bands rites of spring and fugazi. in the earlier 2000's emo merged with hardcore to form a new, more annoying subgenre appropriately dubbed "screamo". Colorful traditional or "sailor" tattoo themes were popular with the proponents of this new breed of american music, probably because they thought it would help them out of that whole looking like a pussy problem.

I am glad too as I have a nautical star and never really was told what it meant. I enjoyed the design and got it tattoed on me. For the record I used to be a slut back in my single days. Dating and more with 2-3 girls at one time. Not at the same moment in time, but diffrent girl every couple of days. So maybe it does mean slut. |

Looser...... |

I was watching a rerun of House last night. He's interviewing a long haired Johns Hopkins graduate for a fellowship position. He tells the hipster doc, Sorry, I can't hire you. The doc asks why.
House: The tatoo on your wrist. I can't use you. Doc: You're the last one I would have thought would have a problem with non-conformity. House: Yeah. You're the ONLY 20 something I've ever seen with a tat on his wrist. You want non conformity? Get a haircut and pocket protector and spend 20 hours a day in the library like the Asian kids. That's non-conformity! That's a paraphrase, but it was priceless. |

I'm in college, gone to parties, blah blah blah. I have never heard of the party dot thing, could you explain it? |
No. The Tramp Stamp, also known as a Panama City License Plate, is the lower back tattoo. Often strikingly beautiful, but also often crude in nature and minimalistic. Often the result of too much to drink, and after the "Girls Gone Wild" bus has left. |

CORRECT!!!!!!!!FTW!! |
You will not likely find them on college girls. They tend to be on the lowest of the socio-economic scale. College girls like wine coolers and good ganja. Party dots girls like secluded trailers where they can shoot meth. |

The stars on the first chick say nothing but, "Bad decision-making skills".
Period. |
Cripes, why don't people get useful tats? Something like the Periodic table of the Elements or Chart of the Nuclides?
I'd be covered in a constellation. |
Everyother guy that I played football with had em on each forearm.
all my buddies that web to BC (shipping out soon) came back with two of em. |
Wondered how long it would take before someone brought that up.
Tatt for tit? Sex for drugs? Quid pro ho?
I'm more interested in her amulet. Picture quality is slightly too poor to make it out. What is it, a Vampire Turtle? -- Pinground |
House is great... bout the only show I watch and that ain't too often. |
Like all other tattoos on the torso, they're aiming points. |
Fuck yeah! Dr. House is the best character on TV. |
Back in the day it was usually the Blue Oyster Cult ankh-like symbol. Sometimes a crude cross. Tattoo in web of hand = I do hard drugs. |
I'll never understand the decision making process that causes someone to get a symbol they don't know the meaning of permanently inked on their body. |
The stars in that second picture does indeed mean something.
GOOGLE FAILURES! Ive asked someone with the tattoos before, but i dont really remember them saying this. |
What do raccoon or bear paws signify? I've seen that lately? One thing is that I've seen alot more black folks tattooed than I ever remembered. Someone mentioned is that the ink is better now, so the tattoos are better, hence more popular. Any truth to that? Is there a good website that explains the meaning of tattoos, especially gang/underworld tattoos? |
Well, stars on one's shoulders signifies that he is a made man in the russian mob. I always thought that tats on the web of the hand ment prison.
Looks like pearl necklace target practice to me. |

Crackin' me up bro! He's either independently wealthy, or enjoys his free whoppers. |
