Assuming a food-neutral situation, such as you sitting on the sofa watching TV and you don't smell like food:
-If a dog is friendly, it is a sublimation of the Pack Instinct. -If a cat is friendly, it genuinely likes you. That being said, don't trust 'em. I love my cat, but I doubt he'd warn me of an intruder. My dogs would. |

My cats warns me of potential intruders all the time. She always comes scurrying to me for cover whenever she sees anything out of the ordinary.
I just wish she'd stop using the claws to climb up my clothes. "Owwww, owwww, HEY!!!...I need that...." |

My cats would run at the first sight of somebody they don't know. They make enough racket to wake up the dead.

There's a squirrel in my front yard that has no tail, or not much left of it anyway. He's always chucking, hissing, and throwing Walnuts at my cat. I wonder why?
