dayyyyum .... I have'nt shot water with my AR yet ... but ... THAT 2nd pic looks like a dadgum mortor round hitting a beach !!!! Was the splash THAT large or am I just missing some field of depth in that pic ????

No,it's a real splash.The water was pretty shallow and the bullet must have hit at just the right angle.

Not to be pissy, but isn't that just a little dangerous? I mean high velocity rounds ricochet quite easily on water especially at acute angles. I thought we all learned that in basic firearms safety. [i]BTW, it is an immpressive pic.[/i] Jake

We were on on private property.Nothing but Minnesota Birch trees for miles.Plus,at that range,I'm sure those v-max bullets broke up nicely.Thanks,GSG9,for pointing that out.[:D]
