98.9 a gallon in East Texas!

In Pensacola, FL it is $1.08 at Texaco and $1.07 at Citgo. I haven't checked out the RaceTrac on Brent yet.
South Florida is as low as $1.11, but I drove by one that was charging $1.48 while the station 100 feet down the road was charging $1.13. I wonder if the $1.48 guy is getting any business at all. When it gets down to $0.98 in South Florida, we will officialy be back at Pre-Klinton Gas Prices. Around the time of the Gulf War, gas was running $0.98 in Margate, FL and $0.79 in Morrow/Jonesboro, GA. BTW, A While Back when gas was $1.17 here, somebody in San Antonio, TX said gas was 70 something cents. What is it right now ? |

Just filled up at the Race Track on Wm Cannon in Austin, TX. 99.9 cents per gallon.

took a trip from Huntington Beach CA to San Jose CA over the Thanksgiving holiday. $1.15 in HB on Tues, $1.65 in Soledad (Salinas Valley between Central Valley/Fresno and Coast) and then $1.45 in San Jose area. It was about 3-4 cents cheaper on the way back. $1.07 is the cheapest in HB (cash at ARCO). |

whoa, I heard Oregon has bad gas prices, but I didn't know it was that bad.
The cheapest right now (for good gas by the way) is about 1.45 for regular, I have a Taurus SHO so I have to get Premo which is 1.55 - 1.65 right now. During the summer, I saw prices downtown portland @ 2.20 for premo!! RAPE!!! |
