I saw an ad in a recent firearms magazine at work about the brand new Auto-Ordinance 1911 handguns.  The price seems right but I have a couple of questions.  Is the gun worth the money?  I have a Kahr P9 which I beleive is the same company that owns A-O and I have been more than happy with the quality of the P9.  Also, does anyone know if the USGI mags that are often seen around this site and others would fit in this 1911?  I may have to pick one of these up anyway because I want a .45 cal.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

They used to be cast junk, but I've heard they are getting better.
I haven't seen a newer one yet.

I'd say save a bit more and get a Springfield Armory or Kimber.
