But the DoD isn't so sure. My concern is that he will slip over into the Pakistani NW Tribal Area. The US can't go into Pakistan, Musharef is already walking a high wire there without having US combat forces running around. We'd get one raid, tops, and if we didn't get bL then the whole diplomatic front would get very shaky. The Pakistanis have never really controlled that region of their country, either. If bL winds up there things get ticklish again.

The Taliban could be fibbing. Remember during the early days of the WTC attack, they were saying that bin Laden had nothing to do with it. Well, stay tuned to see what happens next.

First they said they had no idea where he was, then they said they were in contact with him but couldn't direct his movements. Bravo Sierra. He's still there. (I think.)

That's disinformation. I'd lay money that he's still in Afghanistan.
