What's your favorite multitool? Gerber, Leatherman, SOG or what.

There are excellent elements on all of the three that you listed. However, if I had to pick only one, it would be the Leatherman Wave.

Now, before you think this is brand loyalty, I don't own one. I bought the Gerber Multi-Lock before the Wave came out. I like it a lot, and it was far better than the old Leathermans, but the Wave addressed all of the major problems with the Leathermen. IMO, the Wave is the single best tool today.

Still, I could live with the better models of SOG or Gerber. The Bucktool's handles on the pliers aren't sturdy enough, and it has other issues. I don't care for the Schrades at all.

I have a Gerber, an original Leatherman, and the newest Leatherman Wave. The Leatherman Wave is the only one I ever use anymore. I guess it just feels "right" in my hand...

Just bought my first one 2 months ago. A sideclip. Can't figure out how I survived this long without one.

The one on my belt when I need it. That being a SOG, at all times. Also a Leatherman micra on my key chain.

Leatherman WAve. But it doesn't have a ruler though, all of the other Leathermans have a ruler.

Cocktail fork
Pate knife
And some pliers and stuff.

Wave: it has easy out blades on the outside. so you dont have to open the whole thing to get a knife. Solid tool. I dont like the SOG and the Bucktool because they have that weird twisting opening thingy. If you needed to grip something and twist it wouldnt work very well

Leatherman Wave. I've had Gerbers, old style Leathermans, take offs and one of the low end SOGS. All were good but the Wave is the best one I've had. If I lose it I'll instantly go buy a new one.

The diamond coated file kicks ass. You could file a car in half with it if you wanted to.
