I also voted for "other": the "other" being the M14 / M1A

What do you expect when an economic-powerhouse state within the union is taken out of the equation for owning ARs? FALs and M1A are still legal here in CA at this time.

Don't apologize for doing the right thing!  ;)

If you read the thread that goes along with the poll, you will find out that I too voted for the M1A ;)

I would have included it by name but after Texas Gunman made the poll, we found ourselves unable to alter it, and too many people had voted to just delete it and start over.  (at least I did not think it would be fair)

I love all the rifles in that competition.. I own and shoot all but the SKS.

The Poll had some short comings.. read the thread that accompanies the poll.

In a way, the Galil is a sort of AK variant.  But I would have voted "other" if you felt the need to endorse it.

The poll was more for fun than accuracy.

Not for nothing, but while Mr. RevoltNow is asking us to vote in the poll, (presumably for ARs) he is at the same time doing similarly at L1A1.com. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
I suppose it's just a vehicle to get people to visit the site and look around.

I did not do that secretly..  read my 1st post here entitled, "Say hi to a newbie"

I believe I told everyone I posted on FNFAL and AK47, fair is fair.

I am a longtime member of FNFAL and AK47.  I would have had a membership here some time ago but I had trouble logging on, my password would not work.  I got frustrated after sending an email and not receiving a reply (if I recall correctly).

I am trying to attract membership to the board, I moderate their 2 rifle forums. (I think I mentioned that in the first post)

No harm done I hope, I always look at boards as "the more the merrier".

It was originally a post by TG, but it turned into a "vehicle".  The important thing is, did the passengers enjoy the ride? ;)

I hope to see you guys stop off there and post every once in a while.
