Don't know if anyone follows Cooper or knows who he is, but he was killed earlier today. Here's the link www.sierratimes.com/archive/files/nov/06/arwc110601.htm

What the heck happened?
Link Posted: 11/6/2001 3:45:03 PM EDT
What they're saying is that a bunch of deputies wanted to arrest him on warrants, so they get a pickup truck, dressed up like drunk locals, and started whooping it up near Cooper's place to draw him out. He came out to chase them off, they tried to arrest him. He turned around and split, firing a shotgun over his shoulder, striking and possibly paralyzing one deputy. The other deputies opened fire, killing him.
Link Posted: 11/6/2001 3:51:40 PM EDT
Oh no! I guess that deputy won't be making it home to see his family. Sounds like a bunch of crap to me. The establishment has considered Cooper at threat for a long time, so this does not surprise me. It sucks that it ended this way. God Bless Texas

We'll all be "nutcases" when they come to take our guns, won't we? [:D] I'm going home to pet my "arsenal" and "stockpile" of ammunition. God Bless Texas

For a nutcase, he sure had some high-level security clearances. One would think nutcases would be weeded out much earlier in the process. Here's more info: www.tje.net/para/documents/cooper_who.htm

I've never heard of him until today. I've been searching for William Cooper stuff on the Internet, and I'm digging up some REALLY WEIRD STUFF...I'm going home to hug my Armalite.
Link Posted: 11/6/2001 4:35:40 PM EDT
Here is his website. http://williamcooper.com/ The feds have been after him for years. He started a daily update on his web site a few years back when they first started trying to arrest him. The local sheriff's dept. supported him and would not cooperate with the feds. Many times he reported that he had a visitor from (insert alphabet agency here), but forced them to leave his property since they could not prove they had jurisdiction over the local LE agency. He also hasn't paid any income tax in years. He is/was the king of conspiracy theories. Just read some of what he has said about the Illuminati and the NWO. He made many predictions about current events that actually came true too. Pretty interesting guy actually.

William Cooper's Navy service ended in 1975 with a TS clearance and some job specific special access clearances ......big friggin' deal! He probably wasn't "certifiable" upon his discharge! But listen to his "Mystery Babylon" crap! All doubts about his sanity will be answered for you! DaMan

NOW: if he is the guy his bio says and is NOT a looney tune; then what does that mean. If, somewhere along the line his choo-choo went off the track, then its just bullshit. Anybody here know anything they can back up about this shit? Try to refrain from just saying he's a nut. I need to know if I should put on the TFH. BP

Hmm...Im still trying to figure out why the Russians and ourselves are duking it out on the moon. Seems like theres room for everyone. All those space battles do explain the Ljutic recoilless shotgun though. Sure is a bitch getting blown off into space by recoil as your trying to board a Ruskie relief rocket. - LOOK DAMN IT - ... My mother and aunt lived in Eagar for about nine years until last year. I've spent a lot of time there. Eagar is a small, simple town of about 5,000 people. It's nestled in the beautiful White Mountains on the way to absolutely nowhere. That’s why those people settle there. William Cooper was highly regarded by his neighbors. The town is comprised of two distinct classes of people. - Mormons & Survivalists ... The rest are little old ladies that don't keep up with politics. You guys shouldn't pass judgment on a guy that mirrors 90% of your fundamentals regarding politics. You “no questions asked, pro-LEO” pundits best do your research before condemning the man and his truly patriotic American belief. Assholes that are quick to claim simply that “the man was just a lunatic” should remember that your epitaph may be read the same someday. I listened to William Cooper for a quite some time when he was re-broadcast on a radio station near me, (station was shut down by FCC, imagine that) anyway he had very similar values and beliefs as the majority of us on here. His message however seemed to go a little overboard sometime, so much so that if you were not up to speed on current political events then you would think he was insane.

"Dear Folks: It will be extremely easy for people to get worked up about this situation. But please understand that Bill Cooper's death was UNRELATED to any of the federal warrants pending for his arrest. His own website, run by his trusted webmaster: http://williamcooper.com says as much. Here is the text of the current announcement: - - - - - - - - - - - Updated: Tuesday, November 6th, 2001, 2:20 PM In Loving Memory With a deep sense of loss and mourning we announce the passing of William Cooper. It appears at this time to be totally unrelated to the disputes he had with the federal government. All we know at this time is that he was shot and killed by an Apache County Sheriff around 12:15 AM this morning while serving of an arrest warrant on a local issue. A sheriff was also wounded. Remain Calm! This is in no way a cause for action, but all patriots should be on high alert at this time. Do NOT listen to or spread undocumented and unconfirmed RUMORS! If it is not here it is not confirmed as fact. Updates will be posted here as they become available. We MUST all remember his love of freedom, America, the Constitution and the values it is founded on. We also have this report from the old man -- (whose name I cannot recall off the top of my head) -- who runs the Eagar, Arizona weekly newspaper. He publishes it out of his dining room. It is the only paper published in Eagar. I have met this man myself. Bill introduced me to him the last time I was in Arizona. The old guy is deeply patriotic and would neither make up a story, nor embellish it, nor diminish it. He just always tells things as he sees them.
Link Posted: 11/6/2001 6:44:12 PM EDT
Before anyone makes too big of a deal out of this incident, you might as well know what the people on the ground in Eagar are saying. Here is the small bit of info from the local news guy: Apparently, Cooper had gone into town and was waving his gun around. He'd gone off the handle for some reason or something and the local police figured they had to do something before he ended up hurting someone. This I find *completely* believable. I knew Cooper extremely well. We worked together VERY closely for several years. I saw him at his best, and I saw him at his worst. And I saw his volatility, the times when he was drunk and disorderly, the times when he behaved irresponsibly,..... all of those ugly things that make up "real life." I also saw him noble and selfless and giving. But Bill did have a dark and uncontrollable side. No question about it. This does not mean that he was not a good patriot, or that he did not teach and help a lot of people. I'm sure he did. But to turn this death -- which was so needless and for nothing -- into a martyrdom, or to say that the feds did it, is unrealistic and irresponsible. It is also irresponsible to even suggest that the militias "do something about it." I'm sorry, but the circumstances that can be clarified about the situation simply do not merit ANY response other than sympathy to his family. And it is irresponsible for the Sierra Times to claim that Bill's death was the result of a SWAT raid. This was simply not the case. From all that can be known locally at the scene at this time, the situation was nothing more than Bill out of control in a public place while armed. And if you've ever been around Bill when he is out of control, you'd call the cops, too. Believe me! You would! Bill out of control is dangerous. Bill out of control with his handgun is deadly. That's the truth. Any one who ever knew him closely will absolutely confirm this. In this situation, we'll probably find that the police acted responsibly, and Bill, for all his good points and bad, died for nothing. Michele Marie Moore Author, "Oklahoma City: Day One" "

There are certainly some things in his questions about the WTC bombings that are at odds with common sense.I have from the beginning been reluctant to quickly believe government reports. However "unpatriotic" it may be to question the veracity of the FBI's reports the precedents create a suspicious atmosphere so that when events like this happen we either side with the government or become labeled a subversive.I felt that when i heard the news last night that something was wrong with the story. I wish that the USA had a civilian board that looked into shit like this.I can see from his website why the government considered him dangerous. He questioned authority.

He is not a nutcase by any means. Listen to the interviews I posted on the first page. I don't believe all of the conclusions he draws from his research, but he does his homework and some of it is pretty convincing.

... as for running around waving a gun:
Officers deliberately caused a ruckus to get this man away from his home to create this entrapment He went down the hill away from his home to the automobile to see what the ruckus was, it was 2 law officers in plain clothes. He spoke to them then got back in his car to go back up to his house , when out hiding came a patrol car that blocked his return to his home. He put his hands on the car window as we assume that is what he was ordered to do as they approached his car he pulled out to get around the car . He got out of his and tried to run for his home ,shots were fired he returned fire hitting one officer in the head twice , whom is in surgery in St Joe's hospital. The other officer continued to fire until Cooper was dead.

Never before have I seen the CFR, the KKK, Art Bell, Marxism, Satanism, Freemasonry, Orson Welles, Ronald Reagan, Star Trek, Star Wars, Disney, NASA, Ollie North, the Mossad, Saddam Hussein, Bo Gritz, JFK, the ADL, and the IRS tied together into one grand conspiracy theory. Whew! BTW, Cooper's lengthy "debunking" of the moon landings rests largely on a false premise. He states that since the vacuum of space is a perfect insulator, anything in space that's heated by the sun's radiation can only get hotter and hotter, since it can't be cooled by conduction or convection. But if that were the case, the Earth itself would have melted a long time ago.

According to Cooper, in his purported viewing of a top secret government document in 1972-1973- he viewed information about O.H. Krill, which according to Cooper stood for "Original Hostage Krill". The problem with Cooper's claim, however, comes from the two people involved in the O.H. Krill document. The origin of the controversial document has been known for some time in the UFO field. Conceived by UFO researcher John Grace, who heads the Nevada Aerial Research organization and uses the pseudonym "Val Valerian," the title was chosen as an inside joke, according to both Lear and Grace. While being interviewed by UFO Magazine, Lear stated that he heard Cooper tell a television interviewer that he (Cooper) had seen the O.H. Krill document back in the early 70's. Lear turned "beet red," he said, and motioned for Cooper to speak to him privately. Lear told Cooper, "Bill, O.H. Krill is a joke! John Grace and I used "KRILL" from Bob Emenegger's special "UFOs: It Has Begun", because of a women who allegedly channeled an entity named CRYLLL. Grace just pulled the O. H. out of thin air!" According to Lear, Cooper flatly disagreed, saying, "No, I saw it in 1972." Lear said, "I dropped it then. I could see that there was no talking to him. I then began to wonder just how much of Bill Cooper was real." If you read that entire link it's obvious the guy lost it at some point. Maybe he was special at one time but at this point the "Nut" label fits. [whacko]

In October of 1988, Cooper contacted this writer via Paranet with the request of a favor. Telling me at that time that "this is dangerous if anyone finds out", he asked me to accept the electronic transfer of a file into my computer, to be sent to Stanton Friedman with the information of who wanted Friedman to see it. The document included information about MAJI, MJ-12, THE BLUE TEAM, GRUDGE, and according to Cooper various other alleged secret government projects dealing with the alien presence. Aliens? I thought we all got over that. By this time I was becoming confused with the various "final releases". In another release Cooper claimed that "Project Luna" was an alien base on the far side of the Moon and it was observed by various Astronauts, but then one more "final release" he stated that it was the code name for an underground base in Nevada near Dulce, New Mexico.
