Typically when a communist government has emerged in Central America, or the Carribean, then the U.S. government has funded insurgent groups and rebels within those countries who are willing to fight against Communism.

In the eighties we funded the Contras in Nicaragua.  We funded dozens of other groups and other governments which were willing to fight Communism in South America, South East Asia and other parts of the world.  We even attacked Grenada and replaced its Communist government with a new benevolent ruler.

Can we do any less for the oppressed people in California? Don't we owe it to them to start funding rebel cells throughout the Golden State who are willing to fight in the name of Capitalism and the American way?

Should we provide insurgent groups with Stinger Missiles, Anti-aircraft guns, radar and long range ground to air missiles so that they can prevent the spread of Communism via the skyways of California?

Should we send in the Special Forces to train and equip rebel forces?  Should we provide resistance fighters in California with machine guns, rocket launcers, morters, anti-tank guns and other light weaponry?

Should we escalate the war by providing restistance fighters with heavy equipment, including tanks, armored personel carriers and helicopters?

Should we surround California with a wall of troops and iron to prevent Californian Communism from spreading like a sick socialist disease?

Or should we skip the above steps and move straight to military intervention.

Can we afford to rule out the "nuclear" option?????

No need for violent measures.  Education is the simple fix for such stupidity.  Of course, that's easier said than done.  Also, if we provide them with more reliable power, like we did for Grenada, then that would also help our cause.z

Who is there to fund? There is no rebelion. They keep voting for the same jackasses who continue to take away their rights. They all rush out to register their "assault weapons" so that they won't get in any trouble. Do these sound like people who would actual fight for themselves?

I admit, there are probably a few that would if it came down to it. In fact, there are probably several here in our midst, but the majority of them would rather just take it in the backside and be happy they can still buy the California government approved "safe" guns. Of course that is after they take the new firearm owners safety course and accompanying test, pay an outrageous fee to have a background check performed on them and then wait to go pick up the gun so they have time too "cool off" and not shoot somebody as soon as they walk out of the store.

Damn I'm glad I live in Texas.....
