I have a Browning Buckmark Unlimited (Pistol w/ 10 shot magazine) that was made in the mid-1990's. Can some one in California buy it? I would be shipping it from GA. I have shipped guns elswhere but not to California. What are the laws? Thanks for your info. bcr308

As far as I know, YES you can send it (to an FFL in CA). There are laws regulating the sale of NEW pistols (weird drop test, external safety necessary ,etc.) but it seems that used pistols are okay to sell in CA. I'm not super sure though, so best bet would be to call the Atty General's office or the sherriff's office of the county where you are sending it.

By the way, I'm assuming that the Browning Buckmark you are referring to is a .22 pistol and not some other weird thing. Is that correct?

Ship it to a Kali FFL and they are responsible for the legalities of the transfer.

All firearms sales to Kali must be shipped through Castle Arms in Illinois for personal inspection and approval. [whacko]
