A 7 month old child of a ABC news producer who was brought to work by its mother a couple weeks ago and subsequently became sick was just confirmed this afternoon of having anthrax.

This is frightening at no one at ABC remembers having a supicious package.

On the other hand, the package sent to Microsoft in Reno does not have anthrax.

Anthrax has been confirmed in a package sent to the office of Senator Tom Dashell, the Senate Majority Leader. It was mailed the same day from the same post office in New Jersy as the letter to NBC.

With the Microsoft case cleared, it appears that the attacks have consistantly attacked prominent members and organizations on the American political Left.  I personally find that extreamly telling as to possible suspects.

This is really bad for the child and its family. Cypro. the main antibiotic used to treat anthrax, has warnings against its use in children under 13. Studies have linked it to joint damage and juvenile arthritis.
