The Abu Sayyef have been holding two American hostages for months, totally forgotten by the American press. A third American is beleved to have been beheaded, but his body has not been recovered.

Are they the next target? Iraq isnt holding any Americans at the moment...

But he Taliban still are. I have not heard anything about the 8 aid workers for the last couple of days. Any news on them?

And wouldn't it be interesting if for the second time in a hundred years the US army had to go to the Phillipines to fight Moslem rebels?

The only thing about them I have heard is from that British Newspaper reporter who was released the other day. She was held for one night in the same cell with six of them
