Apparently the ufotable adaptation of the Fate/stay night series coming up in the fall will be Unlimited Blade Works, and a theatrical version of Heaven's Feel was also announced, but it's not yet clear if that is going to be one movie or several movies like Garden of Sinners.

Anybody else going to otakon? Didn't plan on it as I'm not that interested. Then my friend told me his loaded friend, my loaded acquaintance, extended an offer to drive us up and let us stay in the two roomer he rented. I'd only have to buy the ticket. I figured "fuck it" and am going to FO. It'll be an interesting experience.

Since I'm bumping. Went ahead and read Akira. Have always loved the movie, watch it every year. There was a TON more to it in the manga. I get things are always compressed when going to a video media, but damn. Highly recommend taking a few hours and going through the volumes.

Amazon has started shipping the Yen Press English translation of Sword Art Online volume 2. Last I heard, volume 3 is due to be released in December.
Anybody hear anything definite, on whether or not Yen Press licensed the Sword Art Online: Progressive novels? The anime has finally gotten into the final round of the Bullet of Bullets tournament (volume 4 of the novels). |
