I for some reason watched that debacle the other night for about 20 minutes before going on shift. It was the biggest load of @#$% I'd ever seen. The thing that killed me the most was when that little high school girl got up to the mic. I really don't see how such a young person who has not really experienced reality beyond those reality shows and MTV can blab off with the usual retoric that came from her mouth. Go back to your books little girl.

I watched it for maybe five minutes. I saw the usual suspects. One only has to look at their "causes" and their names to recognize these bozos for who and what they really are: Lots of little anarchist, vegan, tree-hugging, garage-sale clothes wearing, Sandalista (With thanks to P.J. O'Rourke for that one!), commie, America-Haters. They appear to me to be like a bunch of lost kids...with no USSR to look up to anymore...only Fidel and the Chinese...and what great examples they are (NOT!).
Of note though...the Green Party was included. Hmmmmm...maybe some of our more astute pundits and commentators are correct and the Green Party is merely a haven for those unrepentent commies without a real home? (I wish the Greenies would stay away from those kinds of things, it tends to further de-legitimize them in the eyes of the voting public. I WANT them to split the Dems and drain off votes from the "mainstream" democratic candidates.) Anyway, I say let them yell and look stupid. I got a hoot out of watching them. What a bunch of losers. If that is all they've got, We The People have absolutely NOTHING to fear. They are vastly outnumbered. [soapbox] |

You forgot to add Bill Clinton. He went to Moscow during Vietnam and participated in anti-American demonstrations and during his 'presidency' allowed the selling of secret technology to the Chinese. Sounds like treason to me.
I have heard that while in Moscow he burned an American flag. I don't know if that's true, but it would not surprise me. Can anyone verify or deny that part? |

Fox News was reporting that the 2000 or so protesters were actually there for an IMF demonstration, but the IMF meeting was cancelled after the 9/11 attack. The police were ready for up to 100,000 IMF demostrators, but only 2,000 showed up due to the hasty re-organization into a "peace" rally. Sounds a lot like paid protesters to me.

That's the whole deal. These people must protest SOMETHING. If it can't be the IMF, then let it be against rightful retaliation. Their signs said 'Stop War and Racism'. What a combination. Are they saying that we are racist for wanting revenge against mass murderers. Revenge is what it is, screw justice. In this case, revenge and justice are one and the same. Nothing wrong with a little revenge. |

You know it's funny. All these arab and muslim groups that want "peace now!" and are opposed to war in general... I don't remember seeing them protesting what we did to Serbia. They seemed to be in favor of that one. Hmm... well, I'm sure they're very sincere honorable people. Who am I to question their motives?
