A coworker took her husband to DFW for a flight to Alaska to hunt brown bear. He told the girl at the counter that he had 2 bows and 1 pistol to check. She did NOT ask to see them. She also did NOT ask if the pistol was in a locked case, or if it was unloaded, or if the ammo was in a different bag. When he went through the security point they let him go through without checking his carry-on. In his carry-on he had a spotting scope, tripod, range finder, and various other electronics. He made it through but the old lady behind him in a wheelchair was searched. I guess they were doing random searches and she happened to be the number in line that was to be searched. I know I feel safe! [rolleyes]
