Anyone who saw 60 minutes tonight knows why I ask.

I don't know whether to be pissed at the guy or just feel sorry for him due to his lack of grey matter.

He said Bush was "not so smart" in making the "no harbor" comment about the perps of 9-11 because, get this, Afganastan is landlocked. Of course, Bush was using "harbor" in a way to describe the countries that "harbor" them, not in a way that describes how the countries allow them to moor their yachts. I guess Bush's comments went just a tad bit over Andy's head; recessive Y chromo's are such a bitch!

As a war correspondent during WW2 he flew on several missions in B-17's. That took big balls.Think he deserves a little more respect than you people are showing him. IMHO

I was so pissed at that asshole that I had to throw something at the tv. The funny thing is that my wife told me to post it on AR15.com! I told her that nobody would know what I was talking about. So did former Sen. George McGovern (D-SD), but he actually commanded and flew the B-17 on at least one full tour of duty over Germany and France in WW2. That took even bigger ones.

Then he came home to be a liberal gun-grabber politician. Lost to Tricky Dick in '72 (Nixon was not our friend either, BTW).

As in Andy's case, bravery and common sense don't always go together. Sad- for them- and for us.

Yeah, but being a "journalist" you have to assume he has greater knowledge of the English language than the rest of us average Joe's, yet he took Bush's "harbor" comment literally. It was a cheap shot and for that he deserves no accolades.

He made an idiotic, brainless statement (par for the course, actually). I pointed this out along with my personal observations about his apparent cognitive deficiencies. I don't care if found the cure for cancer, he's still a f*cking moron.

Don't drag his service in WWII in this to somehow "dumbdown" our criticism of him. It's misplaced.
