Support the war effort you described?
Yes. Kill every last one of them. Support allowing the "urgencies of war" to be used as an excuse to turn the US into a police state? No. |

Quoted: And for the sake of argument let's say the military action is to destroy all of Bin Ladin's organization. So...YES or NO?? View Quote Yes. Hell yes. But damnit, we better do it right this time. No more fly-a-few-cruise-missiles BS. This time we go in and strike unholy terror into the hearts of those unfortunate few that we don't kill, and we do it in such a way that Bin Laden's followers can't pick up the pieces and move on. As for re-thinking our foreign policy, Israel, blah blah blah, I think we need to seriously consider that too, in order to remove bin Laden's recruiting base. War alone ain't gonna do it; we need to kill him and his people, prevent his organization from getting more people, cut off his funds, and disrupt his lines of communication, before the beast is dead. |

100%. I don't give a rat's ass who we give money to, an unprovoked attack on the civilians of this country is reason enough.

Well I am glad that we are all behind this.
[^][^][^][^][^][^][^][^][^][^][^][^][^][^][^] I have done a lot of thinking on this very issue. If I support this war it must mean that I am willing to support it to the end...even if that means myself or my children dying as the result. We have yet to hear from libertyof76, Invictus or others who have so vocally condemded the USA's past actions regarding the Arab countries. Knowing that this is a well-orchestrated plan to spread thin our troops in even more countries than here, so that the planners can then engage in more staged events on US soil, and knowing further that among other things, this whole orchestration is designed to destroy America and what the DOI, BOR and COnsitution had intended...to bring about a one world government with the Antichrist at its head...
No. Flame all you want, and you will, so be it. We can rage and huff and puff all we want but the forces of evil are behind this, and those forces have been steadily working from WITHIN this once great nation to destroy it from the inside. Many of us have been bitching and moaning about how close that destruction really is, yet we are so detached from our very spiritual nature that we cannot or will not see that we are falling for EXACTLY what those who seek to destroy life/liberty/sovereignty/Creator himself want us to. Again, no. Creator please help us to see through the ultimate deception. "In times of universal deceit, telling the truth can be a revolutionary act." --George Orwell |

You can put me in the HELL YES category!!
Lets go kick some ass!! If the rest of the world wouldn't freak out I'd even support the limited use of "tactical" nukes!! [50] |

Ahem.....YES!
Imbroglio: Did you know that Afghanistan has over 10 million land mines throughout the country that were planted by the USSR? Ground war would be messy....not that I don't support one. |

I think that for the most part we are all in agreement, siwft and forcfull strikes aimed at the hearts and minds of our adversairies. but remember, there are alot of them here in our beloved U.S.A. and the time when we will have to defend our home land may be close at hand. so remember, while we are watching our armed forces blowing the shit out of those cretins, we also need to be watchin our backs!

I will support this war.
I would like to see them suffer much worse than what they did to us. I'm kinda an eye for a broken finger nail type of guy. |
|
I am not a veteran so I am asking others to put their lives on the line for me. This is an attack on my home and yours and we have no choice but carry the war forced upon us to the enemy. Should have done so many years ago. I have never taken the oath but I accept it as my bound duty nonetheless!!
I will do anything I can to support the war effort. No amount of suffering imposed on these vermin will be enough to suit me!! Simple answer is YES! |

Yes, but on one condition....
that i get in on it! Dammit, call me already! "...That he which hath no stomach to fight, Let him depart; his passport shall be made, and crowns for convoy put into his purse; we would not die in that mans company, that fears his fellowship to die with us. This day is call'd - the feast of Crispian: He that outlives this day, and comes safe home, Will stand at tip-toe when this day is nam'd, and rouse him at the name of Crispian. He that outlives this day and sees old age, will yearly on the vigil feast his friends, and say, To-morrow is saint Crispian: Then he will strip his sleeve, and show his scars and say, These wounds I had on Crispin's day. Old men forget, but he'll remember, with advantages, what feats he did that day. Then shall our names, familiar in their mouths as household words,- Harry the king, Bedford and Exeter, Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloster, - be in their cups freshly remember'd. This story shall the good man teach his son; And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by from this day to the end of the world, but we in it shall be remembered,- We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me, Shall be my brother; Be he ne'er so vile, this day shall gentle his condition: And gentlemen in England, now a-bed, Shall think themselves accurs'd, they where not here; And hold their manhoods cheap, whiles any speaks, that fought with us upon saint Crispin's day." ~Shakespere. |

I fully support using nukes on Afganistan, Iraq, and any other nation that bitches about it afterwords (Ex. France, Iran, etc.)
I also support ending all financial and military support to Isreal. Why we continue to let them sell our weapons to enemy nations is beyond me. Live Free (even if it cost a few million lives) |

Can any real American NOT promote this war? After what those bastards did? Those that say that we had it coming to us should leave the country...NOW!
Frankly the war scares the hell out of me, this could be over quick, but most likely, it will be long and very ugly. I don't want to see American lives lost. If called, I will go without hesitation, even though it scares me (I do value and love my life, and don't want it to end) but how can we not respond to this? This isn't just a time for anger, we have to think too. Anyone can rush into battle when blinded by anger. We have to ask ourselves what we are willing to sacrifice for our nation. For me the answer was anything, to the end. This is when we answer the question our anthem asks "oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave". We all have to answer with a yes or our nation will die this time, at least in spirit. [soapbox] |

War is an awful vile horrible disgusting messy deplorable thing. I pray for peace. I desire that my children will never have to go through such a thing.
Same with nuclear weapons. I've studied up quite a bit on them, and to say they are destructive does not even come near to describing them. I recall a few years ago when the Enola Gay exhibit at the Smithsonian was a public issue and I was visiting a relative who had served in WWII. I asked him what he thought about the US dropping atomic weapons on Japan and if he agreed with it. He silently got up, went in the other room, then came back with a framed photograph about two feet wide of the Enola Gay and her crew. And the photo was signed by each member of the crew! If I had such a momento to share I would, but I'll just answer... No restrictions. And while me may not be dropping thermonuclear devices at first, have them targeted and at the ready.
