Hi People,

Been checking out different sites and whatnot in preparation for putting together my first AR.   Was wondering what the total cash outlay was for a basic AR-15?
Have a Bushmaster stripped lower on the way.  Could some of you recommend your favorite AR-15 websites as well.
My neighbor is a highpower and service rifle Master and will help me build it.
Any advice would be appreciated.

For a basic rifle set up go with J&T Distributing. My 20" HBAR (on a Olympic Arms lower) from them shoots sub MOA at 100 yards with Hornady VMAX 55gr ammo. Their kits sell for $435 for a 20", or $430 for a 16".
