I'm thinking of buying a .450 Marlin.  Can't really justify it since I'll mainly be using it for white tails.  Anyone out there have any feedback on the .450?  Any reloading data?  How about actually field experience?

It's a lawyer-redesigned 45-70. Just use the 45-70 loads that the books show for Marlins & Rugers.

Don't know about that 45-70 comparison. Lots of people will cling to there 45-70's(including me) and their hot loading data. You don't have to hot load the .450 Marlin, it's hot from the factory. A friend has one in the guide gun configuration and it kicks like a 12ga. 3in. slug out of an 870. If you want one get one, you wont regret it.
