The last 30 hours have been pretty much been nonstop anger, sadness, and outrage as I've been watching the news, reading online, and listening to the radio. Sleep didn't really count because I didn't sleep well and didn't have any dreams that I could remember - a first in a long time.

The one exception to devouring news was last night's battlebots episode. One hour to take a break and try to put it all on hold, if only for a little bit. I laughed with the wife, made comments about dumb looking robots, and acted like I normally would.

I still feel angry, sad, and outraged, but the step back was a good break.

Anybody else manage a diversion yet?

not yet but after work I'm going to put some rounds down range....

I took some time out to break into the piggy bank for more magazines.

I've got a bullseye match tonight.

My brother in law and I watched Independence Day last night.  That is about it.  Even the Choke and Puke local diner had a 13" TV with Tom Brokejaw continuing through lunch.

I too intend to take a break tonight by getting a few things done around the house.

Not yet but Thursday evening I"m heating up a 12 Guage..

I got to go to a funeral this morning That count? we got to listen to the bible-guy with the microphone telling us we were all going to go to some fire place, that wasn't any fun he even literally did that accent on the last letter of each word like the bible-guy in the Simpsons does. you are'ah goinG'ah to HAAAAILLLL'AH! But other than that no still in shock just glued to the tube, see if anything has been found out and whether I need to put my stuff in storage, shave my head and tell the guy in green I want to shoot whoever Dubya tells me too. Damn this sucks, maybe I'll go for a run or better yet maybe I'll see if anybodys got a joint around this place![smoke]
