hello, My local dealer has a springfield armory stainless 45 that is pre owned but unfired, he wants $499 for it. My question is is that a good deal or not? and are they a good handgun or not? i already own a kimber and a colt so i am interested in trying something else. Any info is appreciated.

I have one and it works just fine. Chambers everything from SWC to RN. lead bullets. Very happy with it.
