I just inhereted one of my great grandfathers shotguns. I've had my eye on this thing for as long as I can remember.
I don't know the year or exact model but it is an L.C. Smith. One of the barrels is marked Armor Steel and the other is marked Hunter Arms CO. Makers, Fulton NY with the serial #959**.
I always love getting a new toy even though I would never dare to fire it citing safety reasons.
Could anyone help me out with the exact model and year of manufacture. Thanks

Alex

Can't help you out on the info, but it is cool you got a new gun.  My older brother just called and wanted to know if I wanted a couple of my dads old guns.  Didn't have to ask me twice.  All I know is caliber so I can't wait till Saturday to pick em up.  Just like Christmas.
