What the heck is 85 octane gasoline? 87 - $1.87 89 - $1.96 93 - $2.05 Funny how gas prices at the pump have risen about 50 cents over the last month yet the wholesale price of gasoline have hovered around 77 cents for most of the summer. First excuse was the refinery explosion in Romeoville, IL. Then it was a supply problem. Right.
