Does anyone have a link where I can purchase genuine Colt parts other than from Colt's website? I want to have a spare firing pin and other misc parts but I've seen parts much cheaper than Colts website. I want genuine Colt parts. Any help would be appriciated.  Thanks

IMHO I think Bushmaster and most other manufactures lower parts are just as good as parts with a Colt name on it.  The reality probably is that most of these parts come from only one or two suppliers anyway, so why pay more when the only difference is the name on the invoice??

Not a flame, just my .02 cents.

You got that right. Just because Colt slaps their name on a standard part somehow magically it costs 3X more. I mean $50 for a gas tube and $75 for A2 handguards???

There are seveal companies that make parts for Colt. Look Kimber frames are made by S&W, lol boycott them too?
Some companies even make better parts. My Dad was a master machinist, give him the steel and specs, he could make anything you wanted.

I was told by colt that they do not sell parts. I buy most parts I need from Bushmaster. If you need colt replacement parts, Brownells sells them. You will pay two or three times the cost for a part with the colt name.

I wouldn't buy any Colt parts without any identifying marks, or or it a product exclusive to them, such as the hydraulic buffer assembly at one time.  Colt probably buys the part from the same vendor as other AR15 manufacurers, Bushmaster, Armalite, etc.
