That's one thing I do miss about Maryland - a meal of crab cakes, hush puppies, sweet corn, and a nice cold beer...

I remember the good old days at my Grandparents.  A friend and I came back with a Bushel of Crabs after 3 hours on Drum Point.

I haven't been Crabbing lately, but have heard that you don't catch as many or as large since the Rockfish have come back.

Still some DAMN fine eating!!

And I still remember how to pick them.

(PS--I like Soft Shell's, but like the Backfin meat from the hardshells better).

The Perfect Crabcake--
Lots of Crab Meat.
Just a little dab of Mayo and Mustard.
Sprinkle of Old Bay.
Barely enough Egg and Bread Crumbs to make it hold together.

Fry in a pan until Golden Brown on each side.
