My dog is super cool.  Last night, while wife and I were watching a movie, Bullitt is sleeping at my feet.  He wakes up, trots over to the back door, sits, looks at me and whines.
I was so shocked, but darn happy at the same time.  I let him out, he did his business, and came back in and plopped down on my feet for the rest of the movie [:)]  10 weeks old.  Also does 'Sit' and 'Shake' now too.

Ratters will now feel inclined to post dog pics as well [:P].

Damn you once again!  How did you know I was on vacation?

Congrats, our new pup still has accidents at 6 mos.  Common in the breed though as they often outgrow their bladders.  Sounds like you picked a smart one as well as cute. [:)]

Here is our older girl when she was going through her first heat.  God I hate that.  She is due soon as well.  Yuck.  We have pants for her but every once in a while I'll just throw some old boxers on her.

That sure is a great little pup you have there. Welcome to the American Pit Bull Terrier club! I could be wrong, but I have seen so many of them that I would bet mucho $$$ on that statement.

Here is my APBT Debo @ almost 3 months... see any common features?

It does not really matter what breed your dog is, though. He's an awesome little guy!

We decided to keep the stray we found...she has been named 'Thumper'

wife:   "the puppy is biting me again..."

me:  "thump her..."

wife:  "thumper?  is that her name?"

me:  (looks up in confusion) "OK"

NEW PUPPY OWNERS!!

If you haven't already,  go read the book The Art of Raising a Puppy by the monks.

It's outstanding and will help you enjoy your puppys more when they grow up to be dogs.

And just because you guys are posting puppy-pix...

Hey, Smytex, Is that a pure Lab? Male or female?

house broken in 3 days, working without a leash @ 14 weeks and weighs in @ 28 lbs. She has ME trained very well, while working, I have to carry a soda bottle with a sprayer on it, because when she gets too hot, she will sit and do a "dead dog" roll over, wanting her tummy sprayed. Then she will resume her training like nothing happened
