Geez Steyr. That's TAME compared to the pictures of HANGFIRE that they have up over there.
How did you get to that page? I clicked on the links from the main [red]LINK TO HOMOSEXUAL PORNO DELETED;and ACCOUNT CLOSED [/red]and I just get the HANGFIRE family picture. (pretty damn nasty . i almost puked) |

Is that true? Hangfire actually motivated the NAACP & FBI against the a firearm community?
Can anyone provide some kind of verification? I don't want to make any judgements until I know the story. Hangfire, tell me it ain't true. Edited to add, that if there actually was Federal involvement that resulted in the closing of the McUZI board, THIS SITE and others were links on McUZI.com. Can someone please provide some actual details on this one? I think this is serious, if true. |

The former members of AK47.net and McUZI.com are now looking for a new cyber home. Some of them, and probably not the ones you would want, will undoubtedly find their way here. Remember this site when AK47.net went down? I understand there are two standards of acceptable post: one for AR15 and one for McUZI but I don't think everyone gets it. Also it was nice to have a "free" forum to discuss any topic. Surely you can understand and appreciate the "freedom" aspect. |

Steyr, I think yer right on both counts...
Things are kept clean here for a reason and that's so nobody can come in and tell us to shut our doors... (Not exactly the case, but pretty much so.) The other side of it, is to present ourselves properly and not give too much ammo to the anti groups to run with. I don't mind the influx of new people as long as they are willing to live by the house rules. Another mind is always welcome. As for the larger impact, the site closed more for a financial and time constraint reason than by someone's actions. (From my understanding.) So to that effect, Hangfire had [b]nothing[/b] to do with it and I'm sure that MC will return to a few sites in sheeps clothing as well as focus on an upcoming projects. -- GB |

If, and it is a really big "if", Hangfire did in deed sic the NAACP and FBI on the site then in my mind all other points are moot.
Regarless of how one thinks about the former site, it's members or the post there do you want to associate with someone whom, when simply pissed off, would resort to such tactics? |

HANGFIRE keeps e-mailing me. He wants to know McUZI's name and address again. No kidding !
AND... He even threatened to post photos and addresses of my family members here. I told him (as an independent web hosting provider) that I'd dump the site/account and refund any $$ remaing back to McUZI if HANGFIRE would just stop posting in all CAPITALS here at AR15.com and go away. [8D] [8D] |

Why so much hate for HANGFIRE?[/url] I think the better question is: why does HANGFIRE have so much hate for McUZI? IMHO it's all about jealousy. HANGFIRE is a attention queen, and so is McUZI (just more successful at it). That explains the all-caps posting, the bold thread titles, and the in-your-face posting style. If you remember when he came to AR15.com, he pissed off just about everyone here. Then McUZI started the whole "I almost had to draw on the guy that stole my crack-ho" thread, and he stole the glory (and attention) away from HF. Ever since that day, he has been on the McUZI's trail. You would think McUZI's 'departure' from this board, and formation of McUZI.com would have made HF a happy man, but instead, he redoubled his efforts at bringing McUZI down, i.e. getting and posting McU's home address here on ar15.com and supposedly calling the BATF, FBI, NAACP, PETA, NASA, Batman etc... Instead the guy was enraged that McU actually had a semi-successful board and an entourage of groupies to boot. Kinda makes you wonder, who are the bad guys? The antis, or the gun owner on a crusade to bring down another over differences of opinion... |

Hangfire is an interesting fellow. After he threatened me with an "axehandle session" a few months back, I sent him a private email which he then posted here along with a long-winded typically Hangfiresque spew about how he had NEVER threatened anybody and how he was bravely keeping things out in the open rather than treacherously using private email the way I had. Incidentally, nobody locked his thread for posting my private information.

But what's the problem in having their own board to discuss their own issues? Afterall, it keeps the wackos away from ar15.com for a sort time. Did I like McUZI.com? I lurked a bit, and found some interesting stuff, but for the most part I was annoyed and somewhat disturbed by some of the thoughts of members there (some I had grown to trust and like on other boards). But, I don't celebrate in the closing of the board, as it is just another blow to free thought, whether those free thoughts were intelligent or not. |

Well, my take is of one that I am not surprised that the UBB is gone. It not one because of content, but of fad. It was the "fad" to have it around. As a person could call it, "The evil red headed step child." As far as what is the whole story why, well I doubt if anyone will ever read 100% the truth about it. Myself, I seen both the negative and positive of having it around. The Positive was that people who enjoyed that kind of subject matter had their place to post all they want without having it here. The Negative was that it was used as a platform to attack people who were over here and this board in general.

HKocher, you know we're cool with each other. And I really do know what you are saying. But....if you value the "freedom of thought" the McUZI represented, then give Garandman his.
The sword cuts both ways. Garandman, moderator or not, has opinions and beliefs. His differ from others, but that has no bearing on anything. The fact that he became a moderator shows that someone values his opinions. Garandman and I differ in many ways, and have had minor scuffles before, but so what. We are both members here and free thinkers DON'T always think alike. His opinions, beliefs and values are of no more value than yours or mine. Freedom is far more important. |

McUzi then claimed someone else, a roommate?, was responsible for a lot of his (McUzi's) posts. Hangfire claims that porno was posted and sent in his (Hangfire's) name, by McUzi. I don't know all the particulars, but it seems only one side is being taken on this thread. If I remember correctly, Hangfire didn't post McUzi's info until he (Hangfire) did a title search for the address that McUzi posted as his own, and the owner came back as being Sarah Brady. I only got a quick look before the thread was deleted by the mods. |

McUzi had more to due with getting himself kicked off this board than anyone hands down, no doubt, or deep questions.
I forgot, was there a second reason? Like a circus geek he was driven by himself to commit the wildest possible acts possible and even when warned continued to violate house rules. Puke on my carpet often enough and I'm throwing you out of my house without an apology. I don't mind thought provoking, stupid, or even boring topics but many of his posts were way over the line and tasteless. You can speak your mind, have a nice argument, stir the pot, and have some controversy without going over the line. An accidental violation of the site's use policy every so often isn't an issue in my eyes but when every week it's another and then another, sorry bro' I'm getting tired of having the carpet shampooed - learn to hold your liquor and you're welcome back at my place. Hangfire seems to be cut from the same rug and the competition between the two was ugly trying to out do each other. One seemed much better at it than the other who's feelings got hurt and he turned spiteful. In Some Respects, Ye Were The Best Of Us.... |

The only allegation of "child porn" came from Hangfire. No one condones here that type of sick behavior. Just as we do not condone the unsafe homosexual activity that Hangfire is participating in.
Isn't Johnny King aware of the diseases that can be disseminated through this type of unprotected deviant sexual activity? I am sure that McUZI.com is just displaying his photo as an example of what NOT to do in order to stay disease free. My New Signature: HANGFIRE ----> GO AWAY!
