I have a 1985 Chevy S-10 with a 2.5liter 4cyl, EFI. The gas is so damn stiff that it takes three lead blocks to give it gas. The spring isn't tight at all, so it's not that. Does anyone have any idea how to loosen it up. My uncles was the same way but we couldn't fix it either. Thoughts, suggestions??

More than likely the cable is sticking inside the plastic cover.  Over time, they tend to fray causing excessive friction.  Replacement is the only option.

Got to lookin yesterday, and found that the Chevrolet company made a big screw-up when makin their line of trucks. They kinked the throttle cable on purpose, and frankly I don't think they care, because they're still doin it. The throttle cable is attached to the bottom of the breather so it makes a Z shape, therefore, sticking. I broke the attachment on the breather, straightened it up to just a ( shape, and I'll be durned if it's not looser then a greased lightnin bolt movin up a sheeps kiester. Any problems with S-10's, throw me an email, and I'll see what I can do.
