I told that damn photographer to stay out of my way and not take any recognizable photos!!! Damn him. [;)] In the first pic... What is on the bottom of the magazine? Some sort of mag pull?
Link Posted: 8/9/2001 5:54:40 AM EST
It's riggers/100mph tape as a improvised magpull. Though I don't see the tab or any 550 cord when I look closely. Keeps the mags quieter in pouch too.

I still can't believe they're using all that additional "high speed" techno crap. I would think that Murphy's Law would have been taught to these warriors through hard lessons.

Any more crap on him and he will be assimilated into the Borg collective..... resistance is futile....

Is this promo stuff from the new Star Wars movie? Seriously, the third picture looks like Brendan Fraser.

What about that thing on the Knights Armament ? (right side looking at him in the second picture) some type of laser gear ? For practice? Anyone know ? (mops gear?)

I'm going to guess it is a CCD camera. By the looks of the get-up, I'd say the glasses are probably outfitted with a small CRT monitor, and the gun-fitted camera transmits the image to the screen, super-imposing it in the FOV. Similar to the "Land Warrior" set-up. AMMOTECH: Thanks for this month's wallpaper [;)]

I wish all you grunt bastards would quit asking supply for the nomex gloves. Makes it hard for us people who actually need em to get em. [;)] Aviator
